California Transparency in Supply Chains Act Disclosure

The California Transparency in Supply Chains Act ("CTSCA") requires certain manufacturers and retailers operating in California to disclose information on efforts to eradicate human trafficking and slavery from their direct supply chains.  Ennis-Flint is opposed to human trafficking and slavery and expects its suppliers to conduct business legally and ethically.  Additionally, as a government contractor, Ennis-Flint operates under the United States federal government's zero tolerance policy regarding trafficking in persons.

Ennis-Flint makes the following disclosure in accordance with the CTSCA:

Ennis-Flint does not currently (i) engage in verification of product supply chains to specifically evaluate and address risks of human trafficking and slavery; (ii) conduct audits of suppliers to evaluate supplier compliance with company standards for trafficking and slavery in supply chains; (iii) generally require all direct suppliers to certify that materials incorporated into the product comply with the laws regarding slavery and human trafficking of the country or countries in which they are doing business, although Ennis-Flint has required certain suppliers in higher-risk jurisdictions to certify compliance with applicable labor laws and confirm the absence of child and forced labor; (iv) maintain internal accountability standards and procedures specifically regarding slavery and trafficking; or (v) provide company employees and management who have direct responsibility for supply chain management training on human trafficking and slavery or mitigating such risks in the supply chain.
